Grades 1-5

Primary School

Subjects Offered

English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), Tamil/Malayalam, Hindi, Value Education, General Knowledge, Robotics, Art, and Physical Education.

Focus

The primary stage emphasizes foundational literacy and numeracy. The curriculum introduces students to basic language proficiency, mathematical thinking, and fundamental concepts in environmental science.

Teaching Approach

Activity-based and experiential learning methods are employed to inspire curiosity, foster a love for learning, and develop critical thinking.

Grades 6-8

Middle School

Subjects Offered

English, Hindi/Malayalam, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Science, Value Education, General Knowledge, Robotics, Art, and Physical Education.

Focus

This stage strengthens core subjects and fosters interdisciplinary awareness, particularly regarding social, environmental, and technological issues. Students are encouraged to develop critical thinking and analytical skills.

Teaching Approach

Project-based learning and hands-on activities are integrated to enhance problem-solving abilities and deepen conceptual understanding.

Grades 9-10

Secondary School

Subjects Offered

English, Hindi/Tamil/Malayalam, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Information Technology, and Physical Education.

Focus

With an emphasis on academic rigor, the secondary school curriculum prepares students for CBSE board exams, introducing advanced concepts in core subjects and offering guidance on career exploration.

Assessment

Students undergo continuous and comprehensive evaluation through formative and summative assessments, in alignment with CBSE norms.

Grades XI-XII

Senior Secondary School

Students can choose one of the following groups based on their interests and prior academic performance.

Group I (Science)

English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.

Group II-A (Science)

English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science or Physical Education.

Group II-B (Science)

English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Physical Education.

Group III (Humanities)

English, History, Political Science, Computer Science or Physical Education.

Group IV (Commerce)

English, Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy, Computer Science or Physical Education.

Notes

  • For admission to the Science stream, students must have taken Science and Mathematics in Class X.
  • For admission to the Commerce stream, students must have studied Mathematics in Class X.
  • Students who have studied Basic Mathematics in Class X CBSE Board Examination are not eligible to opt for Mathematics in Classes XI and XII.

The curriculum is designed to be progressive, aligning with the key principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offering flexibility, skill development, and an emphasis on holistic learning.
